The 140th Re-enactment took place in September 2002 on a Hagerstown, MD farm. About 13,000 reenactors engaged in mock battles. The major events were re-creations of the fighting at Bloody Lane, the Cornfield (a 6:00 a.m. start), A.P. Hill's counterattack, Fox's Gap (from the South Mountain battles), and a cavalry battle.
